Hi Samlore I'm sorry you're feeling so depressed. I had leforte done mid Jan so I'm four weeks post op this week. I think I couldn't breathe out of my nose for the first week because it was so swollen and bunged up but it's absolutely fine now. Hang in there, the swelling will start to go down soon ...

Hi

I'm feeling exactly the same at 4 weeks post op. But I'm sure it will get better. Everyone seems to mention their nose immediately after surgery but not a year on so I'm trying to be optimistic!

Thanks for the reply. I saw the surgeon again and he just chuckled and said these things happen after surgery! Anyway, they seem to have cleared up now (touch wood) with no ill effect so I'm hoping they'll stay away.

Post surgery cold sores

Hello I'm a week post op for upper and lower jaw surgery. The day I came out of hospital I was attacked by a couple of monstrous cold sores which aren't doing anything to help my swollen lips go down! Has anyone else had similar problems? I'm worried they're going to spread even further and somehow ...
