Re: TIRED OF BRACES!
Getting braces has probably been the worst decision I've ever made. Ever. I completely regret it and just want to be done. No idea when that will be. Biggest waste of time and money and my teeth are basically going to be the same as when I started. So yeah, I'm there with you. I just want them off.

I'm almost 2.5 years in and they're still on. They've worn down over time but they're still there.

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Kimmyann, how long has it been since you've noticed any movement now? If it's been a few months, maybe ask for an x-ray at your next appt? Attaching an untouched pic to show that you really can't tell with the fake teeth - there's a bit of a shade difference, but I think because I had them on so lo...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Well my canine is officially extracted. After two years, started at 27 and I'm now 29, I'm officially an impacted tooth failure! Hopefully the bone graft takes and all that's left for this debacle is the implant but with my luck I'm sure it won't be that easy. I completely regret trying and wish I w...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Divatooth, When i had my exposure the oral surgeon checked for mobility and told me no its not fused and yes it will move in. Did you have any of those answers from your oral surgeon? The OS did say that it "appeared" that it was fused when he went in to attach the nub and remove the baby...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hi millersgirl, healing has been absolutely fine, I've not had any discomfort at all since I had my tooth out!! When are you getting yours removed? Did you see the pictures I uploaded on the previous page? Yes! I was hoping you see this and respond. I'm nervous about timing as I'm scheduled to have...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hello all, been a canny while since I posted on here so thought I would update with my situation. I had an x-ray a few weeks ago and my tooth hasn't moved a significant amount so have made the decision to get my impacted canine taken out and an implant fitted. Both my ortho and myself agree we have...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hey guys. Been a long time since I've updated. My canine never moved and I'm going forward with the extraction in a couple weeks. To those who have had it removed, how long was the recovery?

Re: Has anyone had their premolar(s) take the place of their canine(s)?
This is what I'm planning on doing. My impacted tooth is stuck. We've tried pulling for about a year and a half. In the mean time we've created a HUGE gap and my midline is completely jacked. I told my ortho today I'm not interested in the implant and he seemed annoyed. He said, well you know this i...

Impacted Canine Question
Hello All, After a year and a half of trying I have to give up on moving my canine tooth. It's stuck. So. Now I'm preparing myself for oral surgery. I really don't want an implant. I've already spent nearly $8,000 on my braces and the implant will cost another $2,000 after insurance. Ugh. I'm terrif...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Yeah, I can understand that. One thing though, which regular canine would you need pulled also if you go for closing the gap option? The one on the other side or the lower canine and did they tell you that was to balance it out? Eve My top canine is impacted so my dentist said to pull the other top...
