I have a callous where mine has rubbed back there. Now I don't even feel if there is wire poking me!

Im finally going to try and upload some pics. The first one is about 4 weeks in and the second is about 10 weeks in. I am very pleased with the progress. The first month i was pretty discouraged because i had hardly any visable movement. Then all of a sudden at about week 6 they just started getting...

My extractions were horrible! He had to dig out the root on one of them so it took 2 hour to get all four done. I have awful anxiety too which didn't help. I kept feeling like I was on the verge of a panic attack. Anyway, got those done last Friday and my braces on Wednesday so in still pretty sore....

Got my braces early! I'm going to try and post some pics.

I got my extractions today! So glad that's over. I get my braces on Wednesday and cannot wait to post my after pictures on this thread!

Ok, so I'm about to have 4 extraction done next Friday and Braces the following Wednesday. What I've learned from all of my research is that we SEE so many of the bad stories because the people with great stories just go on with their lives. The bad stories get blasted all over different braces site...

Oh good! I thought 8 was a little crazy! Lol

Me too! I am constantly looking at people's teeth now!

I'm glad your seeing progress! I get my braces in March and I'm very nervous. I've wanted braces for as long as I can remember. We'll see how it goes. Keep us updated on your progress!

Thank you! Metalat40, those are the same teeth I am getting extracted. I have a ton of crowding and a huge overjet. I was recommended for jaw advancement surgery too but would still have to have the extractions. So I decided against it. I hope everything turns out good still. I would love to hear ab...
