I got giant tortoise elastics right away (my teeth are super tough and hard to move) They do work well, just have to remember to change them often.

I second the mouth harp idea. I was doing that with the elastics when I first started them (about 6 weeks ago). I was braced in Oct of 2013. I have powerchains on for the past 3-4months or so to close the spaces in my teeth due to extractions.

Hi Everyone! I am a newbie to this forum. I've been browsing and trying to find answers to all my questions but no one has seemed to have an issue with this yet. I started my orthodontic treatment in October of 2013. Since then, I have had a few wire changes and all of them went well with no issues....
