I'm really good! My swelling has come down tonnes and my bruising is completely gone. I saw my surgeon yesterday and he said I looked closer to 2 months healed rather than 2 weeks, which was lovely to hear. They also said I could drink again, as long as I don't bump my face. So pretty hungover today...

My surgery was delayed from December, it's so frustrating! However, because my teeth had time to find such a good position, I didn't need to wear a splint for recovery. So stay positive, and remember the more time you wear braces now means less time after. The last couple days have been a bit harder...

I actually felt no pain at all in hospital. I pressed the button out of boredom though haha. I had the follow up appointment with my surgeon today, and he is happy with how I'm coming along. Feeling pretty tired and swollen today though. Apparently it only gets easier from now on!

I have an underbite, and have always attributed my builds ups of excess saliva to it. Do other people experience this, or know if there is a possible correlation between the two? I'm my surgery in 10 days will fix the problem!

Yeah I've done lots of research. My surgeon still hasn't told me my movements yet, however. I assume I'll find out at my appointment next Friday, but is it unusual to to still not know this close to the date?

Hey guys, this is my first ever post as well. My surgery is on April 11th, the 2 years I've had in braces has flown by. Can anyone give me some tips or recommend things to buy in preparation?
