My surgeon never even considered a separate procedure for the wisdom teeth. When reviewing his plan of care, he just said he would do them at the same time as my jaw and I would feel a lot less discomfort that way (which could quite possibly be true, as all I really felt for a few days was numbness....

I had my wisdom teeth removed at 25. 3 came in fine, the 4th didn't. I only had them out because I was having upper jaw surgery anyway.

I had my surgery on Friday and the surgeon did the wisdom teeth as well. He had planned on it from the beginning, and I know a couple of other people who had them done simultaneously. I've felt very little pain- slight discomfort- but nothing too bad. I think it's actually easier just getting it all...
