£3001 all in metal fastbraces top & bottom, xrays, moulds and bonded and removable retainers. For the estimate sentence time of 5-6 months I couldnt justify the extra £400 per arch for ceramic!

Thanks millersgirl! I was all up for the fastbraces before I learned about the canine...now I'm trying to stay positive but secretly freaking out, this will mean my sentence is longer than the original 5-6 months stated (I knew this could be the case as it was based on "intial consultation"...

Braced Day 2- Mood - feeling extremely self conscious, embarrassed even, talking like a mouse and very quietly (not like me AT all!) Pain - very tender, unable to bite with front teeth, luckily I can chew (albeit carefully) on back teeth, but no real pain Feeling - Hopeful I made the right decision!...
