Did you try the pencil eraser? I assume that would taste gross!

I have them on the full right side, bottom right now. It was very uncomfortable the first week or so. But they seem to get quick results, which I'm super happy about.

For me it's a teeth thing. I have a severe overbite, so I have a retainer on top that doubles as a guard. I would just knock the brackets off right now from clenching if I got them at the same time.

Good idea about asking my Ortho about a new guard once my uppers go on. I'm more concerned about sleeping, I clenched so hard before getting braces, that I would wake up daily with headaches. I know my final retainers, one of them will double as a guard!
