Re: bite turbo
Funnily enough I think only one of my lower teeth is impacting my top teeth - my dentist made me bite this ink paper once and it showed up on my teeth where it was hitting and it appeared to be on only one of my teeth - it has done lots of damage to my lower and upper teeth though and now its affect...

Re: Newbie from UK
Thank you ! It went well :) :) My dr is referring me to the relevant department (which I'm assuming is oral and maxillofacial  ) as he says it sounds like TMJ - Thinks are looking up for me - I'm so glad I decided to explore this avenue. I'm hoping I won't even have a massive wait until I r...

Re: Newbie from UK
There's still a possibility that your dentist may be able to send you to a nearby hospital! Keep going on at them! I'm glad you have some hope into getting some treatment!!! Thank you ! I'm going to ring around a few dentist and ortho's tomorrow and see if they accept NHS patients and also check ou...

Re: braces on veneers
Thank you for your reply - my dentist told me braces on veneers normally isn't a problem only if the bonding is worn and the veneer could come away from the tooth - this worries me as three seem good but one is slipping very slowly over time and I was wandering if others out there had encountered an...

Re: Newbie from UK
That is extremely helpful ! It would help me so much to get nhs funding ! I just spoke with my regular dentist practice & I was told the ortho isn't taking on anymore nhs patients at the minute but that's progress within its self as I didn't realise at any point they took on nhs referrals ! X

Re: Newbie from UK
Gosh I see what you mean so the trick may be to try and find a dentist which does adult nhs referrals for ortho work ?
Perhaps I should travel to your dentist ! Worth it if I get funding ! Ha ha ! Did u go on a waiting list x

Re: Newbie from UK
Are over bite and deep bite the same thing? I did consult my dentist about ortho work and wanted to refer me to someone in house, he never mentioned nhs treatment tho (most probably because its predominately a private practice :? ) Yes I have a small chin and I think under developed jaw - I honestly...

braces on veneers
Hi Users :)
I'm thinking of going ahead and getting braces for my upcoming birthday (present to myself ha ha !)
I have veneers on my four front teeth - I'm wandering if this will affect my chances of getting braces at all ? They are pretty worn after 10 years
Thanks
x
