I have spacers in right now and I am finding my teeth are "clicky" as well. I was panicking because I also have short roots... I really don't want to loose my bottom 4 front teeth.

I was reading your concerns about short roots and braces. I am getting my 2nd set of braces on in two days, however, I am concerned because, I have short roots on my lower 4 incisors. Have you had any xrays to see how the roots are doing? Will the teeth with short roots be splinted after the bracket...

I wore braces at 18 for 4 years, I had an over bite and deep bite. At the time I had 2 congenitally missing teeth, 2nd mandibular pre-molar both sides. At the time the ortho didn't want to close the spaces so he opened them up enough for a bridge.... many, many years later I had the bridge (s)remove...
