I had a consultation on a Friday, and got them on that Monday.

I thought my top would move much quicker too, but my bottoms have surpassed my expectations in the 5 months I've had braces. That's not cool that they're using your only free appointment to fix their mistake. When I got mine put on they told me that in the first 24 hours there's a chance that a bracket could come off, but that it would count towards a "broken bracket" fix because it's more of a malfunction, and ...

Also 28 here and got my braces in March, I've been amazed with how fast my teeth moved in the first couple of months, but boy I can't wait to get these things off.

I also have full metal, and I really don't like the way they end up looking in photos, I feel like it looks like I have dark, rotting teeth also. So I try to do the "somewhat amused" smile without showing teeth, but not quite the grinch closed mouth smile with front of lips stuck together....

I wish I could do rainbow, my orthodontist only lets patients pick 2 colors.

Thanks! I'm anxious for my front teeth to stop overlapping, I was always very self conscious about it. I'm glad to finally be able to properly clean behind some of my teeth, I never realized how much staining I got in those hard to reach places.
