I was told 18 to 24 months. I am now in month 17, and have not been given an ETA update on when we'll be done.

Here's a side by side comparison! First shot is DAY 1 and the 2nd shot is NOW (which is Month #10)

Hey, just reading your thread, how are your braces going? Thank you for asking! I have to say, it's going great! The difference between the photo that you see above on my first day, and now 9 months later is huge! I haven't seen that day 1 photo in a long time, and looking at it now is pretty shock...

I still cannot understand for the life of me, why there is this unwritten rule in society that says braces are a "kid thing." WHY??!!! They are basically a medical (dental) device that corrects a ton of different problems. Name me one other thing that corrects issues in the medical/dental ...

My adjustments are every 6 to 8 weeks! It is so weird waiting sometimes 2 months between appointments!

I was just there on 10/20, and when the lady told me I won't be back until the Saturday before Christmas (12/20), it felt like that was wayyy too much time in between visits. Ohh well, no big deal.

Oh no! Mouth ulcers! I have to say, I was one of the lucky ones who had very little issues with mouth ulcers or the need for wax. I had an issue a couple of times (feels like a rug burn in your mouth), but very minimal compared to others.

I have traditional metal braces (not self-ligating). I am totally ok with that!

Has anybody experienced this before? I have had braces since June, and my bite was off on my left side (part of treatment). However, now all of a sudden it's VERY off and on the opposite side! Look at this picture and you'll see what I mean. It never looked like this before, and it feels very weird....

Nope! My first AND second adjustment were just tightening/replacing my ligatures. They did not replace my wire!
