Personally I think it shouldn't matter what color you ligs are. If you act professional, the color of your ligs shouldn't even be an issue. I keep trying to tell my company that but they still won't let me have blue hair!

The no-no food list I got from my Ortho said absolutly no gum. I used to chew gum all the time because I'm usually very close to my patients when I'm talking to them. I want to be minty fresh. I'll have to ask about that dental gum or other sugarless. Thanks for the link!!!

I really didn't care if my braces could be seen or not, plus I like the idea of having a colorful mouth. The metal braces are small and strong, that was all I needed.

I'v found the Colgate Peroxyl mouthwash really cuts down the amount of time I need to endure a canker sore. One of my brackets keep snaging my lip and making the sore worse. Lots and Lots of wax baby!

Wow! We are on the exact same schedule! I had horrible pain for the first week but my teeth feel great now. A sore tooth here and there, but mostly pain free. Congrats on new braces! I'm 28 and I thought I should finally get my crooked tooth in line. The first week was hell for me too, but I can finally eat a sandwich! Good luck!

My orthodontist told me to return in 8 weeks. I have crowding in the front of my lowers only and they put two seperate wires in. from my molars to my canines. I thought they would want me in sooner, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a long time between adjustments.
