I think it would help to have some other gay opinions instead of just 2.

let me just say to you from experience...i've dated men..(a long long time ago) and women are SO much harder to deal with. my partner is "the boy" in our relationship...and yet it is STILL like having a husband and a wife at the same time...

Blaat, FAMILY is a "slang" term the the GBLT community uses to include their other GLBT friends. ie: "Is she FAMILY?" . We are not trying to single anyone out here. Its just another way to connect with other GLBT in braces from other parts of the country or globe for that matter....

you're lucky...my ortho gave me elastics for christmas. as if i need something else in my mouth. now i have 2 elastics in front and 1 one each side of my top molars.

ive had my braces on for about 6 weeks now and i still hate eating. its not fun, it hurts, and you can't enjoy the taste of anything due to the pain or the distraction of concentrating on your chewing. my only luxuries left in life right now are red wine and mcdonalds vanilla milkshakes. i have lost...

for pain..(which i am in right now!!) i like to have a vicodin and chase it with a huge glass of chiraz or merlot. the bad thing is i can't do this at 7am or my sons bus driver might think me a little unfit.. i have to save this nice little remedy for after the child is in bed...

hey ...im a fanger as well...we should have our very own "FANG" club here. i have "fangs" on both sides....hate them...i was braced 9/13/05 and still have the fangs....but other teeth have moved...i had a question tho....do they use elastics to pull the fangs down? hmmmm

that is SO true...i can't believe how many adults ive seen with braces since i got mine. i have no problem smiling and showing them off...right now i am sporting FABULOUS purple ligs!!

ive had my braces on since sept 13th ..and today is my 3rd adjustment... i go every 2 weeks right now and everytime ive gone i get new ligs and some new device...maybe because ive just started...does anyone else go this often?
