I was told 24-30 months. Currently, 24 months on top and 16 months on the bottom. I was told yesterday an additional 18 months. Not a happy camper.

I'm 42 as well and have braces. The top ones were bonded in March 2014 and the lowers were bonded in December 2014. 42 and I've had the top ones bonded in March 2014 and had the lowers bonded and removable bite plate installed last week... wish I had done it sooner.. but, better now than never..
