OH MY GOSH! I've already had a ligature pop off - this is crazy. It's not like I'm fussing with them, I don't understand it! If this is what it's going to be like until I get them off - it's going to be the LONGEST 18 months of my LIFE. Thank goodness my ortho has late office hours tonight! Sheesh!

I'm sure everyone has their own techniques and I'm sure if you have a small upper lip this may be easier said then done - but what I do is use my tounge to push out my upper lip. Kind of like trying to lick your upper teeth without opening your mouth. This is what works for me... Good Luck.

Don't mind the fillings

My ortho said that I have VERY TIGHT fittings when he put on my spacers and said he didn't blame me for not flossing enough! (Finally someone saw my point of view) But it only took about 45 minutes to get 8 of them on and that is including the time to do x-rays and molds. Busy little bee, my ortho is!
