Thanks Dee17! I am glad to finally be getting them-but the cost. YIKES!! They think I will have them for 23 months.

I also am 42 and getting braces. I was surprised that the orthodontist said my overbite was not that bad and my teeth were not too bad for my age. Am I missing something? Is this something they all say before they give you the gigantic price? LOL! Also, how much pain should I expect?
