Alright, the canker sore pain is fading away slowly, but surely. But before that goes you know something else has to happen. Now I get a sore throat! I think I just got bad timing with braces or something lol. Anyway, I'm gonna post pics tommorow so get ready for those.

I read a lot of posts and can come up with only one thought. That only an expander can give the appearance of a 'fuller mouth'. Can braces do the same thing if the case isn't that bad? Man, I've had braces before and I could clearly remember what the pain was like. The most painful part of my treatment was when my teeth were sore from movement and it was time for a lig change. Oww! Their could be different reasons for having dreams of your teeth falling out. But to keep it short, dreams like this are prolly telling you that you're concerned about your appearance/smile.

Got the impressions done free of charge. I've known the orth for about 2 years so maybe that helped. I get braces put on the 11th of October. Next week I'm gonna get that ticker bar all of you use.

Thanks, when I read words of encouragemnt I can't help but think positive. I just can't be myself when it comes to messed up teeth. I dunno, I feel all good by myself right now, just w/my co workers I'm afraid to smile. I put my retainer back on

I wasn't done w/my treament when I they were taken off. I had to go to basic training and braces weren't allowed. Still though, this retainer has been on my teeth everyday for the past 2 years. I kinda got used to it and I'm self consious w/out it.

Were you given a temorary retainer? If so have you been wearing it? Gotta wear that sucker for a year straight. The teeth do tend to relapse after treatment. Let us know...
