[quote="aspiromusings"]Ok so the metal bracket right at the end of my right jaw top brace has come off as I discovered this morning however thanks to the curl thing my orthodontist at the end of my wire the bracket is staying put (though unglued from the back tooth) I'm seeing an ortho (no...

Re: New Here And Some Questions..
I'm still going through a journey. Just had surgery 4 days ago so I can't answer you on my appearance yet. I'm a musician so I took a huge risk getting braces. I was very uncomfortable with my smile and decided to do something about it. Very rough decision as I am a music teacher as well. I try not ...

Just had surgery 4 days ago and my surgeon turned about 10 times. I have yet to do it myself like oth...

Re: SARPE Surgery
[quote="Sadoozie"]The hospital iced me up good, the nurses were so sweet and helpful. You hear a lot of bad things about poor service quality in public health care in Denmark but that wasn't my experience at all. The only thing I can comment on is the ice packs - they weren't cold enough. ...

Re: Will tooth extraction ruin my face?
I had 4 of my pre molars removed. I do not see any facial changes. Some people said I look a "little" different but not significant to the point that you'll hate yourself. You should be fine.

Invested in one today. I hope it goes well.. I see mix reviews on it but I'm a bit afraid of flossing since having surgery 4 days ago.

Re: Surgical consult soon; what questions should I be asking
Insurance coverage.
Ask how many patients they have done with the type of surgery you are getting.
Average age.
Orthodontist and Surgeon should be on agreeance with the surgery.
Get second opinions!
Hope this helps!
