Also at my 6 week ortho appmt they are keeping my bands in for at least another 6 weeks to correct by overjet from the upper!!!

Im not almost 8 weeks out. It has gotten better but not close to what i was hoping for. Hope there is still a lot more swellling to go.

Surgeon said to wait 3mo. I have two months left but its so drastic. I just fear that the focus was on the teeth and the facial changes were not considered or they were assumed that the changes would be preferred. Bite is fixed but at the expense of my face? I am praying that the swelling must be insanely uneven because this is not what i signed up for.

I know that but the cause of concern is my lip placement its as if that wasnt taken into consideration. Goal was to fix the bite without sacrificing my looks. I was very happy with my looks, now I am very concerned.

I am having the same issue. Others who have had this issue, what were the movement distances of the upper and lower.
