Re: Are sore molars normal after braces/retention?
Right. Sometimes though it feels like I'm developing a cavity.

Are sore molars normal after braces/retention?
My braces were removed recently and I only had to wear the plastic retainer for the top arch for 6 weeks. It's been over a week since I could finally bite down hard and put some pressure on the teeth again like pre-braces and i feel some soreness on my molars. Is this normal and will it go away afte...

Removable retainer cracked..
Plastic one on the lower arch, there's a crack in the middle now. Probably because I always remove it by pulling it off my molars on the right first..
I'm worried that this may screw up the position of my teeth. Do I need to get it replaced? That would suck because it's pretty pricy.

Results after 9 months Wilckodontics
Finally finished yesterday, you don't realise how good your teeth look untill the brackets are out of your mouth. I'm happy with the results so I wanted to share some pictures. before http://i.imgur.com/tqsOU3C.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Rs6DQAc.jpg after http://i.imgur.com/zH04Fvv.jpg http://i.imgur.co...

Braces exposed triangles
Now that my teeth are straight I have a big triangle between some of the front teeth of my lower arch and some smaller ones. Is this bone loss, gum loss or both? My teeth were very crowded and I used the worse type of material to try to clean between the teeth, sometimes I would feel pain and the da...

Re: Permanent Retainer
I have them and I'm glad to keep them forever so I'll always be confident that I'll keep my teeth in this position. But I recognize the speech problems mentioned here. How much glue do you people have over the retainers? Mine seem to be significant amount, it's really made my bottom teeth much 'thic...

Removing cement remnants
So I've had the cement blocks removed, the first time it was easy because they were blue. Then they put other ones with white colors(why?) and they haven't fully removed it yet. They're gonna do it when I go in next week, but I'm kinda worried can it damage the enemal? It's painful when they start s...

Re: Can I remove the hooks for elastics?
Definitely don't need them anymore since my lower arch is done and we're finishing up the upper arch. They should have removed them, but it seems like they won't do anything unless you ask and remind them. Jeez. I'm out of wax but I'll try to get a hold of some more.

Re: Can I remove the hooks for elastics?
It's not thin wire they're pretty thick and strong like his
They put them in a few months back I just wish they were easy to remove.

Can I remove the hooks for elastics?
You know those small little hooks for the elastics. I don't need them anymore but suddenly they're really bothering me with cuts that won't heal. With the holidays I can't go to my ortho for a while so is there a way to remove them myself?

Re: Braces made something misaligned?
Ok I have to change my mind yet again lol. I think both theories are right. There is a discrepancy in incisor/canine height but my lower jaw has definitely changed somehow too. I'm actually getting x-rays tommorow and it's a perfect moment to bring this alight methinks!

Re: Braces made something misaligned?
I think I figured it out. The left incisors on the lower jaw are taller than the ones on the right. I might shave them down a bit? Yes, I notice that too. I'm also not crazy about the tilt of your right central incisor; I wonder if the roots are all properly parallel in your X-rays. The left inciso...
