Are you trying the devices given by your ortho floss fish etc? I had problems flossing for a while to until I started to use the devices probably. I use the smallest waterpic available (grey ones) they are great.

Yes! I have but it hasn't been a good thing due to being a bit too skinny at the moment. I put it down to not wanting to eat as much because of the hassle of cleaning your teeth after every meal.

I absolutely hated my braces to start with and was so shy about it but you do grow in to them and just focus on why you got them and how great you will look when they are off!

Don't panic, teeth always seem to get worse before they get better in braces. I have been concerned with the gaps forming in my teeth then by the next visit they are closed but there is a new issue. I got two molars removed and had my braces fitted 3 days later, make sure you clean the sockets after every meal for a month otherwise they can get irritated. Mash potatoes were my best friend during the 3 days of recovery!

I am nearly 6 months in and my first two adjustments were painful but my last one did not bother me one bit. Don't worry it gets easier!
