Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hi guys, Was wondering if any of you with impacted canines has had sensitivity when taking cold food/drinks? My impacted canine has pretty much made its way to the archwire, and recently I've been experiencing a painful, stinging sensation whenever it comes into contact with cold drinks...hopefully ...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hi everyone...it's been a while since I last updated but I wanted to post some good news and that is.... my canine is finally peeking through my palate! It's been about 2 months since I activated this pesky canine and finally I can confirm that I see progress! Granted it still has a long way to go.....

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
^Wow. It's not easy to have 2 teeth impacted. Thanks for sharing and props to you! Sometimes, I wonder whether I should have just left my canine in there and just forget about getting braces knowing how long this process will take, but you know what, the procedure's done and there's no turning back....

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hey satinythrasher, thanks! The pain is pretty much gone now, although my surrounding gum is a little sore as its still healing from the expose/bond surgery. I can have solids now just not anything sharp like potato chips and as long as the food doesnt poke into my gum. Makes eating really tiresome ...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
This morning, I got my chain activated and can I say the tightening hurts like a ****. This was prob the most painful process of my entire journey with braces. Was kind of feeling negative towards the end, but I cheered myself up with some ramen, albeit in miniscule bites. I can finally have noodles...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Sandsnake, Congrats on your tooth! I can't imagine what it must feel like :D I opted for local anaesthetic rather than sedation as I didn't think it was going to be that bad. Only when he administered the local did it really hurt, other than that, the lasering felt like barely noticeable tiny pinche...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hi everyone, Just to update, I had my canine exposure done today......can I just say it was barely tolerable? The exposure part didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, although the injections did made my body literally twist in agony. Expected the pain but didn't anticipate the number of injectio...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
Hi guys, so I've been a quiet lurker (not to mention, an impacted caniner) on this forum and have been reading all the posts regarding this srsly frustrating problem that we all seem to share >.< Since I'm scheduled for a canine exposure surgery two weeks from now, I thought I'd join the club and sh...
