as long as you chew slower in the future with harder foods (should stick to soft foods but we can't help it can we haha), the brackets should stay in place
i actually have a loose bracket right now too and i'll be going in to get it fixed in a few days! crossing fingers for no setbacks for us

sometimes when i gargle with mouthwash, the insides of my cheeks sting
i don't feel any cuts or stinging afterwards
could it be because of the braces?...
and is this common?

i guess i'll just have to wait it out & i'll also check with my ortho of course

* I don't want to have bite blockers for two whole years because of the constant position my mouth is in. The bite blockers prevent my mouth from closing all the way and it gives me a slight lisp. Though I'm used to it by now, I'm worried that the prolonged time with my mouth open will change my jaw...

Oh and is it possible to expand my arch with only braces too?
