Wow, lots of replies! I was thinking of doing all red (my favorite color) or red and black. I know that nobody close to me is going to care (my friends would actually probably expect me to go crazy with the colors), and I don't have to worry about my job caring, either (being military I wear the sam...

Choosing braces colors as an adult.
So as adults, do most of you get subdued colors, or do you not really care? I think I would like to get ceramics (especially if I'll be wearing braces during my big wedding, ugh), but I kind of also want to just go crazy.

My wisdom teeth have never really bothered me. The first one hurt a whole bunch for a day or two when it was coming in. The second one was a little sore but nothing bad. The third one I didn't even notice had come in until the dentist told me. I get headaches, but I don't know if it's because of my ...

I haven't gotten my braces yet, but I'm no good with pain, either. I make sure my doctors write in allllllll my medical records that I don't handle shots well. I get lightheaded when I get a papercut. I can't even imagine how much it's just going to *suck* getting my wisdom teeth out. I have two tat...

Guess I'll say hi and post my story too. :)
I am 25 in the Air Force, currently stationed in Hawaii for the next three years. My first time to the dentist (the *dentist*, you know, the guy or gal you're supposed to see once a year?) was when I was almost *17*, so it sort of goes without saying that my teeth are not happy. The original reason ...

Reconstructed teeth and braces.
When I was 17 I passed out face-first into a linoleum floor and smashed my two front teeth. I had a root canal done on the left one, and both of them had to be reconstructed. When I was 19 one of the reconstructed bits on my right tooth just fell off, so I had to get more enamel put on. So I've alwa...

I have three wisdom teeth (the last one just isn't there), and none of them have come all the way out (I don't know if that makes them impacted or what). They never gave me any trouble until now, since one of them has a cavity. So now they have to come out. Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh, I'm not looking forw...
