I could only cut myself the first wires with nail clippers. Now my wires are so thick that even the ones for toe nails are not doing the work. Good part is tho that the thick ones can bend more so I use the clippers to grip the wire and twist. DIY has never beeen more fun

I am sorry to hear about your trouble. I am affraid I have no advice for you, if I knew how to deal with the NHS in this country I wouldn't have gone private. Wait, wait, wait or slap thousands and the job is done and you get treated like a human being. "The customer comes first" rule. Unl...

Is there any way you can get the whole wire out? That is your best bet.
If this happened to me I know I will be taking ligatures off and getting rid of the wire. You can get new one since your appointment is so soon.
Hope you feel better soon.

Before braces I was 4lbs under my ideal weight. I had the same weight for the last 8 years so that little underweight didn't cause me problems. I lost 2lbs more at the start of my treatment. I normaly have a lot of sugar in my diet and never had teeth problems related to it but was advised to stay a...

I've never seen it before. Maybe is because I buy mouthwash when I run out, as I forget it all the time on my weekly shop. So I don't think Moss chemist does it. Bet you can't put that one in the waterpik! Listerine for me, it is green and ugly and sharp but very minty. But, if I see it I will...

Oh you poor thing. Dry sockets unfortunately do happen, only like you said you have been very unlucky. I was lucky that my four teeth came out ok. I did it all in one go too so the next few days I cried so much as I couldn't eat properly. Holes were so deep too that took forever to heal. I had my br...

I got my powerchains on day one. The reason for it were my four extraction gaps. So really, you will get them when you need them, like when you have gaps created that need closing. Oh, and trust me, you don't want them. They can cause you real pain.

Cleaning

Hello there After some time in braces I started to feel like my mouth is not clean enough. Started only with the toothpaste, then pearl drops add on it, then baking soda, then water pick. To be honest the first time I used the water pick I think I cleaned more of the bathroom tiles than my teeh tryi...

Hmmm
When I was wanded I actually asked the bloke myself to check if my braces will beep. He loughed but did it and no, no beep at all. Maybe depends on how much metal you have in your mouth. The wires were not enough to set it off for me.

Yup, I have four gaps too. They started to get significantly smaler so I know they will close. Imagine the shock of four huge tooth size gaps and feel better that you only have one.

Don't worry about your tooth coming out. The braces can't do that. What you normaly see from the gum up you have about twice as much of tooth inside the gum. Trust me, I keep my extracted teeth. If it causes you pain take painkillers, keep your tounge away from it and chew on the other side. Give yo...

Oh well, that explains a lot about my pain when I got braced first time. I had 4 powerchains since day one, still there and they will stay there for some time to close the extraction gaps. Last adjusment was two weeks ago and the ortho made them shorter to give them more power. I don't know why but ...

I think you need to see a doctor about that. I doubt it that is to do with your braces and don't think that orthodontists are the people to help you.
Hope you start feeling better soon.
