Hey guys October 26, 2015, I got my braces. Weeks before, I had 4 teeth pulled out because there was crowding. I had an overbite, minor crowding on the bottom. Well since I've gotten my braces, i now have a gummy smile, my lips are crooked, the left side of my smile is higher then the other, I think...

Yah I have a similar problem too. I never had a gummy smile but the more my bite is improving, more gum shows. My ortho did say something about jaw surgery, but I'm not sure. I kinda want it because my jaw doesn't look good, I hate how my chin looks and my face is kinda long. So hopefully my surgery...

Everybody knows how the first week feels like... I usually don't cry but omg first day I sat down and just cried. Second day I got hit in the mouth by a friend, it was an accident but I wanted to murder her on the spot. It was better for me after TWO days, lucky me. Trust me if you passed the spacer...

If you're only 7 months in, I don't think they're coming out soon. Sometimes those little things they have to finish can take up months.
Just ask your ortho next time lol. I know how you feel about the pain, especially when they're tightening it.

So my family and I are going to Kenya for 3 months and I was wondering how that would work with braces?? Obviously I'm going to let my ortho know but I'm worried that he would say no or something.

I'm about to have my 4th adjustment in few weeks and I feel like the whole time nothing moved except for my extraction gap closing little bit but the other gaps haven't even moved. I've been wearing braces since November.

After a week, you'll probably be able to eat in it. I'm wearing the sea lion-heavy- and at the beginning, I'm like... So guess I'm going to be on mute for couple of days
And now I can open my mouth easily and eat in it.

Guys I was wondering if white spots can actually be treated or are they premanant??? My teeth were pretty clean before I got braces and now... My teeth aren't yellow lol but I got white spots on my canines... It's really bothering me and my molars got something behind it... I honestly brush my teeth...
