my chain was attached to my arch wire too. I think it depend on the Ortho how they attach it.

I'm 11 months in and still use it from time to time when I have a random wire poking out or the brackets move and rub the inside of my cheek

I use coconut oil and a Nivea lip butter combo at night. The two of them together make my lips so soft. and the coconut oil helps soothe them if there sore from during the day. plus the coconut oil can be used for other things too.

in the beginning it was definitely my bite blocks but lately it's the eyelit that is bonded to my exposed canine. it keeps rubbing my lip raw since a part is bended outwards.

the first time I had my impacted canine activated it hurt more than I was expecting. but after the first 2-3 times it stops hurting.

I've had my spring on since my first adjustment in February and its never bothered me up till now (although I think it's because the spring has created enough room and is not super loose and spin around. the end will catch my lip which is a bit painful) most of the time I even forgot that the spring...

yup completely normal! I was surprised when my teeth did that too.

ask if they can put them on your molars instead of your front teeth. it may make chewing a little harder but that may be better than having a lisp.
