Well. tomorrow is surgery day! I am so looking forward to this all being over, but I am also feeling all the nerves. Nervous about being under that long, nervous if something goes wrong, nervous about the outcome...

But no turning back now! Wish me luck!

@glennstanzalone getting close! Mine is scheduled for July 16th so I am getting nervous as well. But I am definitely looking forward to it being over.

Has anyone here had mitek anchors put in their tmj discs? My doctor wants to do this in addition to the double jaw surgery since my right disc is displaced forward and outward. Curious if anyone else has had this done and how it went? It seems most people just get the jaws done.

Well, today is the day for braces! Not looking forward to it but at least it is a step towards getting it over with. I have an appointment with my orthodontist who, based on the molds and pictures they took last time, will walk me through the suggested treatment in detail and then put the braces on....
