Also you're not the only person with a small mouth! Haha! They needed to use loads of Vaseline (lovely!) on my mouth to get the thing that holds your mouth open in and I needed the child's size plate thing to get moulds taken!

For the first few days I stuck to soft foods like potato and eggs because of the pain and i was afraid of knocking the brackets off (soon realised how sturdy they are!) but after a few weeks I was able to eat pretty much anything.

Curry! I had white/invisible brackets and I am so looking forward to eating curry. The plan was to eat lots of curries for a bit after getting braces off, except I'm getting my teeth whitened in a few days after only having my braces off for a week so don't want to ruin that haha.

Yes I'd go back and ask them to fix it. Especially if you've paid for it they should make sure you're happy with it.

I only had mine on for 7 months and I think I found the biggest improvements earlier on, probably between months 2 and 4.

I got mine fitted the day after my 30th birthday. Wish I'd done it gets ago really.

I have a bonded and removable one for my top teeth. I found my speech a bit funny for the first few hours after the bonded one was fitted. I didn't get my removable one for 48 hours after getting my braces off but I like having the 'double' sort of back up.

Congratulations! I had mine off the other day and was so weird to be able to run my tongue along my teeth again!
