On my last adjustment 2 days ago I picked glow in the dark pink and purple. They are pretty creepy when all you see in the dark is glowing teeth. My daughter thought they looked pretty creepy. They are real light in color and I think they make my teeth look whiter :D They are my favorite color so far.

I get a metal taste from my bands, but it is not a strong metal taste. Did you have a metal taste at all before starting the antibiotics? Doxycycline causes photosensitivity but I have not heard of it causing any hightened sense of taste. But everyone is different.

I have noticed that I clench my teeth at night since I had my braces put on. I will wake up with my teeth hurting because I am clenching them so hard. I also believe I read on a previous post that alot of people start grinding or clenching thier teeth when they get braces put on.
