I think it is just for taking the braces off because I have another appointment the next day and they said they need to get the molds done for 8:30 and i already have a permanent retainer in.

I was just wondering how long it takes to get your braces off? I'm getting mine off on June 20th at 8am but i have to write an exam for school( my school is 10 mins away from my ortho) at 9am. In your opinion will I be able to make it to my exam? They said it takes about a half hour but I just want ...

Headgear and Elastics???

I have just been told recently that I might need to wear elastics, but why would they tell me to stop wearing my headgear and then tell me I need elastics don't they serve the same purpose??? :?

or do they??? I am really confused.

hey i was wondering the same thing. and when i tried to play my flute after getting braces it was a little hard to get the sound but after a while it is just like without braces again!

I never have a problem with not being able to eat only the first couple days after i got them on.

Hi. I never had a problem sleeping with headgear!
