For those of you who have had the surgery, I have a one year old son and would be responsible for caring for him while my wife was a work of I decided on getting lower jaw surgery.

Do you guys think I'd be able to take care of an almost 2 year old days after surgery? Or is that too much?

I'm set to get braces next month and I'm leaning toward ceramic on top? I've heard they are less fragile than traditional braces. Has anyone had any experience with ceramic braces breaking ?

The orthodontist says I'll only need one extracted .... I've heard of 2 extractions but one one.... Have you heard of an orthodontist recommending just one extraction ?
