I am strating to feel bad too. All I received fromy ortho was a plastic bag containing wax, a paper container with floss and 5 threaders, a travel tooth brush, and regular sized toothbrush and a timer.

I wanted an electric toothbrush and a t-shirt like everyone else.

How often will I get my wire replaced? Right now, according to my ortho I have the most flexible and thinnest wire available. Could that be why I've had no pain since I had my braces put on? I have Damon 3s and I don't have my first adjustment until January 10th.

Personally I think that you should casually mention to your date that you have braces. What if your date decides to take you to a restaurant and you can't eat the food that's on the menu? I don't think there is anything wrong with bringing it up in conversation, just so your date is not too surprise...
