Re: Getting Invisalign in 2 weeks!

An update! I'm in 22U/22L of my 31/31 and there are good improvements. I don't have any attachments (and probably won't for the rest of my treatment) but I will be doing refinements when my first round runs out. One of my uppers (incisor?) doesn't seem to want to descend enough to fit in with the re...

update

I'm Invisaligned and on day 6 of Tray 1. 31U and 31L, I'm in Invisalign Teen (strange considering I'm in my 30s) but I have no complaints. I don't have any attachments on my teeth (yet) but I do have about 8 attachment spaces already built in to the trays. One is on my top front tooth that I'm not t...

Pasadena CA
31U/31L
$5200 for everything, including x-rays, refinements, etc. etc. I have Invisalign Teen if that matters.

My insurance isn't covering anything. Now I wish I had negotiated! Price was much lower than others... one quoted me $7800!

When you do move, Dr. Greenberg in Altadena is great. It's in the San Gabriel Valley NE of downtown L.A.

Good luck!

first set in today!

Hi! I just received my first set of aligners today and I was excited to post about it. Since you were hesitant about signing up I thought this would be a great place to tell everyone about my new trays. My teeth and bite are pretty complex... I have a crossbite, midline is off, they tell me that my ...

Okay, maybe not 2 weeks. I went for a first round of impressions to be followed by Invisalign impressions next week. Then a 6 week wait assuming ClinCheck is immediately approved and THEN I'll be in Invisalign.

So many steps!

I did, however, pay my deposit today. Good grief.

Getting Invisalign in 2 weeks!

Hello! After years of considering, I've finally plunked money into a downpayment for Invisalign for my crossbite/crowded/midline shifted mouth. I had braces 15 years ago when I was a teenager so I'm very excited about the clear Invisalign and the fact they are removable for brushing and eating. For ...

I know Whole Foods sells frozen mixed berries as well as frozen strawberries that go well with vanilla yogurt, non-fat milk, and soy protein. You have to work with the ratios to get it just right but they're pretty dang good.

Hey there! My name's Brent, I'm 28, and I'm doing a PhD in Glasgow (originally from the States). I'm about to take the plunge for braces as soon as I can save up for the deposit. You're right, I haven't noticed too many adults with braces around town but I think this is normal because the same is tr...

I just bought the Sonicare 5500 Elite that came with just one brushhead (no comfy grip on this model, I think that's about the only difference). Anyway, it's just plain awesome. Though I always think I should brush for two of the timed cycles instead of just the one. And I use my regular toothbrush ...

I'm 28 and I'm thinking seriously about getting braces for the second time. Because of bad luck, not wearing my retainer nearly long enough and a slew of other things my teeth have drifted back to almost where they were before. However, I'm fully prepared to give it a go again if I can do it in cera...

If it's truly a SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM brand then it sounds like they still have a few of the older models at your Wal-Mart.

I just bought an Elite 5000 series today so I'll try it out tonight and give you the full scoop. Good luck!

Thanks Lucy! You're always answering my questions... I have looked at the BOS website but unfortunately (and I suspect especially in Scotland) not all orthodontists are members. That doesn't necessarily mean they're bad or anything just that they aren't listed. The closest office to me from that web...

Good Orthodontist around Glasgow Scotland?

Hello...

I'm shopping around for orthodontists in the Glasgow area (in the city is best) and was hoping someone could recommend a particular office. I'm looking into ceramic or Damon brackets only but any references would be helpful. Maybe how much the cost was/is as well. Thanks!
