This happened to me too, almost exactly, it sucked so bad I was in tears. I had to get a cream for my swollen mouth and lips. The non latex elastics worked fine.

I just got my braces off yesterday and my bottom two middle teeth are loose, I can wiggle them. I also have bone loss and my ortho gave me a removable retainer so I can floss. I'm going to give them a few weeks to settle in place. How are yours doing?

I have a TPA and it is the worst! I've had it for about 4 months and I'm still not used to it. If you think that's bad, wait until you get elastics. I just got some yesterday and I feel as if I've been taken to a new level of hell. This is the worst year of my life, I swear.

I had mine out in December and they've moved a little bit, but I can still fit my tongue between them. They are disgusting and have caused other large gaps in between teeth that weren't there before. If I had to do it again, I would not have them pulled. No way.

I got sand blasted today and as a heavy coffee drinker I have to say this was the best thing ever for my teeth. Combined with my new wire ties, my self esteem has risen about 20 points.
