Just becoz I had pain doesnt mean that you will get it later on too. Hope that you dont..unfortunately I am not as lucky as others. I am 6 months pregnant which makes my teeth and gums extra sensitive and adding to that, I am not allowed to take any pain killers due to the fear of harming the unborn...

Hi, I am abt 26 weeks pregnant and have been in braces for abt a year or so. I was told that I would have to take extra care as pregnancy makes the gums more sensitive so it bleeds easily. Hygiene is not a problem for me. The thing that bothers me most is that my teeth hurt a lot more after adjustme...

My sister has kinda straight teeth and as for me, I had a lot of problems with overjet, over crowding etc. I dont think that it was becoz of genetics but becoz of the fact that I was injured when I was abt 6..I fell down straight on my face, broke all my baby t...

Progress Pics after 2 months!!!
Hi... I notice a lot of progress for my lowers at just 2 months. I had a lower incisor removed becoz of overcrowding and I was told that my rotated canine would fill in the gap. After just 2 months I noticed that most of my teeth had straightened. So much for people saying that ceramics are slower t...

Does frequent adjustments reduce treatment time?
Hi.. I am not sure whether this question has been asked before or not but I am a little curious to know abt this. I have a friend in New Zealand who recently got braces...her treatment time is supposed to be 24 months. She is planning to get married in the next 18 months or so and she told me that h...

I have upper and lower ceramics. I was a bit concerned abt staining before getting the braces but the dental staff assured me that the brackets dont stain. I have white wire ties which doesnt show at all and since I am an indian, 90% of my diet consists of curry with lots of tumeric and I also drink...
