Re: invisalign vs traditional braces.

I have invisalign at on the top and traditional on the bottom. I have the bite turbos you mentioned. Oh my GOD. At first? it was absolutely miserable. I couldn't eat a thing. It was so so so hard to eat food with them but over time you honestly forget they are there. I've had them on since last augu...

Re: How painful can invisalign get?

I wouldn't even describe it as pain. I'd say mild discomfort? The only real pain I felt was when taking them on or off for the first few times of a new tray. I have metal bands on the bottom and let me tell you, invisalign is a CAKEWALK compared to the metal bands. The pain I felt at first on the bo...

Re: Advice on my situation?
I'd ask your orthodontist -- they may be planning to rescan your teeth after you use up all your current aligners. I have a 3-year treatment plan and my first round included 52 aligners. I recently got rescanned and am now on a set of 17. By the end of the 52 aligners, ...

Re: Can Invisalign fix an overjet?
You need to see an ortho, not a dentist.

You need a scan.

I don't receommend Invasalign. Traditional braces work, get over your vanity and get them.
I had a big overjet and invisalign worked perfect for it.

Re: on my second set, no pain?

I have metal braces on the bottom and Invisalign on the top. The bottom pain was HORRIBLE when they were first bracketed. I remember dreading when my trays came in because I would have to go through that again but I never had pain from invisalign. Once in a blue moon I would have some soreness on a ...

Re: Getting braces for the 2nd time because of protrusion
Aleardy 1+ month with braces, just changed elastics and the wire last 25th. My dentist still insisted not having my premolars removed! :( She says to wait for 3-4 months to see movement of teeth coming in. I really don't want to wait that long! I've been dreaming of havi...
