My braces was free. In Sweden you dont have to pay for any dental treatment til the year you become 19. Even though Im 21 at the moment my treatment started when I was 17 and is therefore free.

You will never completely stop wanting to rip them out. I never dit anyway. It gets much better quickly for most people though. For me, my first month in braces was absolute misery for myself my family, friends and anyone else who happened to be in close proximity. :lol:

They look very good! You should be pleased and I bet your ortho is! :D If the tissue can somehow be removed then I think that will make them look nicer. Also, I'd consider shaving the central incisor edges down or bonding, not sure which would be used in your case. Just to make the edges more neat....

That's great to read Hawkwing ! :thumbsup: My concern was that your bite in those pics is not good ... and I was hoping it was just the way you took the photos ... which it must be ... great! I had a mild class III and my bite is currently about where your's looks to be in those pics ... biting sur...

New attempt. Tried to make my bite look as normal as possible but its quite hard to keep my mouth open enough to take good pictures. Included one normal and one alien-like.

I began my treatment about three years ago to correct a severe overbite and had some weird braces with long metal things that prevented sideway movement with my mouth and forced my kin forward. Those metal things did have some advantages tho...
