I'm excited that I have braces but I'm slowly realizing I may not have the movie star smile when finished. My teeth are so small!!

My ortho doesn't tell me anything either. I'm fascinated by the treatment and would love to know what I'm in store for.

Good luck with your their tightening! Maybe ask what you should expect this time around.

How many months are in between those photos?

I didn't have any swelling with mine. I would call your ortho

1. Missouri
2. Ceramic Damon braces on top, metal Damon on bottom
3. 4600 but insurance paid half
4. 21-24 months

Do they hurt as much as I hear?

I just got my braces put on 7 weeks ago and I plan on going every 3 months. So afraid of the white squares

I hear smoke colored bands are the best

I noticed mine had a strange odor as well! I assumed bacteria stuck to the metal. Glad I'm not alone
