My OS just said no more salt water rinses. Rather, I'll be using Peridex 3x a day. Any idea why this would be? I've never heard/read not using salt water.

I had my surgery on the morning of the 28th and my lips actually aren't as swollen as I was expecting. They're swollen enough that I can't shut my mouth, but nothing major. I keep them slathered in vitamin A&D ointment and they're still getting sores.
