7 days post op upper jaw only. Upper lip is still very numb and I have no movement in it all. Even when I smile nothing moves. Anyone else been through this and has a guestimate on when I will have muscle movement back?

This sounds painful. Im 4 days post op and still numb. I have dissolvable stitches and was told they will go away on their own in 2 weeks. I hope your pain goes away and the stitches do too.

Hi, Ive seen some pretty neat posts on this forum with people having corrections done with just braces. I think it would be possible to correct your issue with just braces. If its something your surgeon and ortho agreed on. I would defintiely bring up your concerns at your next appt. good luck to yo...
