Just a question here my orthodontist uses clear essix retainers, I will have upper and lower, and a upper fixed retainer. Anyway, how often do you have to have the clear essix retainers replaced, and how much do they cost when they need to be replaced, I have been told I will wear mine at night fore...

My orthodontist does one whitening treatment in my plastic retainers after my removal of my braces. Don't know about everyone else on that subject.

I agree there should not be any harm my husband often takes 2 800 mg motrin at a time and the military gives it out like its nothing with that doesage.

I have never heard it is actually painful, I hope not I get them put on Dec 19. Hope we find out the answer. Thanks for asking.

I am awaiting my braces over Christmas break (I work for a school), I am very excited.

I was told they can use a bracket on my crown (front of my mouth) with a special kind of glue. They said it would be more likely than other brackets to come off, but they think it should do ok. Good luck!!

I told my ortho I did not want the staining either so they are going to use the white wire ties as well. Granola how invisible are your ice's, I get mine on in about a week.

I have a few papers still due too, I am taking 12 credit hours and work full time so its been crazy and hectic, I feel your pain!!!

Good Afternoon! I have the molds made for my braces tomorrow, I am nervous. I have read everyone's comments about this part and they said the worst part will be the taste. I am still nervous, Oh well it only gets better from here
