Greetings, approaching the second week, and the soreness is abating a bit. Chewing is a bit strange...I can sense a subtle change in my teeth, the stability of them. My mouth is SO dry! Oh well this too shall pass!

Well, it has been a week...not that bad really. Some rubbing on the inside of my cheeks, a little time to get used to talking and the soreness associated with that...good thing I am not a big talker! 56 .......wow, how did I get that old so fast? Where did the time go?? So maybe the next two years will race by and I can have a beautiful smile and a better bite!

Today is THE DAY....application of the braces....
The spacers were fun. I had the dubious distinction of having some of the tightest spaces my orthodontist has seen in a LONG while. She had to resort to using a few metal spacers...Nice!!
Can't wait to see my new smile and then the evolution!

I am another one who is soon to take the proverbial plunge into ceramic land....at 56 years...my dentist suggested it two years ago and if I had taken his suggestion then, I would be nearly finished...Oh well, you are ready when you are ready.
