I would love to know the answer to this as well. I am a chewing gum addict!!!!! The only suggestion I have is those altoids or those fresh breath mints. Otherwise, I have no idea. I used to chew like 3 packs of gum a day. maybe more, lol. I'm an addict!!!!! LOL

Flybynight, Thank you for your reply. Yes, they did physically push it. It didn't hurt, it just felt like ur teeth felt when u were younger and they were loose and u tried to move them. I am worried about the bone regrowth around it and if they shortened the root. Maybe too much, too soon?? 12

My orthodontist did not provide any type of toothpaste. My daughter, who went to the same place (12 yrs old), was also not provided a toothpaste. She has a white spot on one of her teeth. I didn;t even know there was something that could get rid of it.
