Re: Wire out of bracket
Check with your ortho before cutting it! That means he would have to use a new wire at your next visit and if this is a finishing wire with custom bends in it, it will make his job harder. Despite what people think, you don't always get new wires at each visit. Especially ...

Re: Wire out of bracket
I've had this happen many times. You could try to maneuver it back in but if you're going back in 6 days, I wouldn't worry about it. You could even cut the wire before the last bracket so it doesn't irritate your gums. I've also cut it before.
Thanks for the adv...

So tonight my top wire popped out of the end bracket whilst I was eating. It's not bothering me until I eat, when it starts to move up & down. I am due to have my wires changed in 6 days, shall I wait or do I need to go & see my ortho to get it fixed sooner? It hasn't happened to me before s...

Still feeling positive about it all so far, 16 months to...

Re: Braces at age 39 - Advice Please!
Hi, I'm 36 & had my damon top & bottom braces fitted about 2 months ago, I also had two teeth extracted on the same day. I will say that I did suffer for a couple of weeks with the pain & discomfort & found myself questioning my decision. I like yourself never smiled with my mouth op...

2 months in & I'm feeling good
I had my damon braces (top & bottom) fitted about 2 months ago, whilst I hated them at first I'm now slowly getting used to them & starting to see a difference in my teeth already. I've been told I will have to wear them for 18 months, just wondering if this is a standard period for adult br...
