If your worried about protein, I would suggest either tofu or fish. Or, you can try one of those protein shakes that bodybuilders use.

Anyone know how this 6 month method differs from regular braces? I can't find anything on their website except "latest technology" and "time tested orthodontics." I'm curious what makes it faster.

I mix frozen berries, fresh bannanas, fresh mangos, various flavors of sorbet, and tofu in my smoothies. I havn't seen soy protein, so I just substituted tofu in. They are good, but not all that filling.

As for why you didn't get teeth extracted, its either because your ortho didn't think you needed the extra room (any crowding in your teeth?) or she/he is trying to widen the arches instead of extracting teeth.
