I need some cleaning advice....

I use the Sonicare Elite 7500 three times a day for 2 - 4 mins. After I eat I gargle with water to release the food particles and once a day I use a mouth wash... however I am finding that when I clean my teeth I still have a soft white build up in between the teeth and around some brackets where it...

Marks on the teeth of an ex brace wearer?

There was a girl who worked at the same place as me and she had braces for some time. This was 3 years ago and I never talked to her about it because she was not a close friend so I didnt want to embarrass her by bringing attention to them. When the braces were removed there was a dark greyish patch...

Thanks Weird Wired... I feel better now. I just couldnt understand why I was getting off so lightly.. haha.

I will relax and think myself lucky..

I am really starting to see a difference since the braces went on, my teeth seemed to get worse at first. I am lucky and I am glad that I did this.

Why is my time in braces so short?

I had crowding on uppers and lowers... this is straightening out now. Compared to others on this site my teeth looked worse however I was given an estimate of 9 months in braces and a fixed retainer indefinitely (I rarely see anyone on here with an estimate time less than 18 months). I have been in ...

What is the minimum time for brace to avoid movement later?

I was wondering once the teeth have all moved to the correct place.. how long would you suggest the brace stays on so that the teeth settle and there is no movement later? 8)

Hi, I am from Bradford, but I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands and I am 35 with ceramic braces. I chose to have braces myself because of some crowding. There is another lady at my work with braces, she is around 40. I was at the coffee shop today and I saw a lady of about 30 with a full set of ...

How many of your Orthos are using Neoclips now?

I heard via this site about Neoclips.. I am seeing my Ortho on Weds for an adjustment, I am wondering whether to mention them to him or not. I dont want to appear like a know it all but I dont think that he is aware that they exist yet... I like the sound of them, no staining, they make the bracket ...

I was told 9 months tops of brace wearing.. though I have a lot of crowding on the bottom row at the front. I have been judging my teeth in comparison to some of the teeth pics on this site and my teeth look worse but my brace time has been estimated at less than half the time of a lot of brace wear...

Ortho cannot attach wire to ceramic bracket... arggghhhh

I have had my ceramic brace on since 21/11/05 with ligs. I have one lower jaw tooth that is sitting further than the otheres and because there isnt a lot of space for it to come forward, my wire has never been atttached to it. My ortho keeps putting a spring in between the two surrounding teeth to p...
