I have had a root canal on one of my upper front teeth... will they make me have something done to it before the braces go on? It seems like everytime I turn around they want more money out of me for something

I've never been complimented about my teeth.... well except for when I was trying to get my parents to help pay for my braces.. then they said " you have very healthy nice teeth...." i knew it was just them trying to get out of helping with the cost! It might also be that i barely ever smi...

I'm soon to be braced also at 24.
I'm trying to figure out if I should go with ceramic brackets or not. at my ortho they are $200-$500 more for them.

I do have a pretty bad overbite so I'm worried that my lip will bump out really far making me look even stranger
