Hi everyone, thanks for the "woohoo's!"-it's appreciated!! I'm hoping everyone else can be downgraded too-it's a wonderful feeling. I've had soo many firsts...like first meal without having to take them out, etc etc. I'm just ecstatic about this because up to this point it's been one annoy...

hi kibracesitall, It will get easier-it'll take some time....I've had my rpe (different kind of expander) in for 18 months & counting. Eating is difficult & frustrating at first...water pic helps after you eat and while you're eating just drink lots of water to wash the bits of food stuck up...

hmmmm...I wonder if braces are covered by their government or their health plans? It sounds like it's a bit different from the "it's cosmetic and we won't cover the cost of adults to have braces" bit that I've gotten too many times over here. sounds like a great place :)

hi, I hear you on the RPE situation...I've had the SARPE as well-it's defintely the way to go! I have one positive note that you probably won't have to wear it as long as I'm still wearing it-I changed my ticker because for me at this point it is a badge of honor.
